These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of satillarail.com (the "Site"), operated by Satilla Rail Services ("Satilla," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is informational

The Site describes our locomotive repair, inspection, parts sourcing, brokerage, and consultation services. Content on the Site is provided for general information only and is not an offer, quote, or guarantee of availability, pricing, or outcome.

Service engagements

All repair, inspection, parts, brokerage, and consulting work is performed under separate written estimates, work orders, purchase orders, or invoices agreed between you and Satilla, and those documents set the pricing and payment terms for that work. If they conflict with these Terms, the engagement documents control.

Technical information and remote assistance

Technical information on the Site, and any guidance provided by phone or other remote assistance, is offered in good faith based on the information you provide and is intended for use by qualified personnel. You are responsible for verifying its applicability to your equipment, following manufacturer specifications and applicable regulations (including FRA requirements), and observing all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and blue-signal protection. Satilla is not responsible for work performed by you or by third parties based on remote guidance.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content — text, graphics, and design — are owned by Satilla Rail Services and may not be reproduced without permission. Third-party names, marks, and logos shown on the Site, including client names, belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify past work; no endorsement is implied.

Third-party services

The Site embeds third-party content, such as YouTube video, and may load resources from third-party servers. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices, and your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

Disclaimer

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This section applies to the Site itself; any warranties for performed services are set out in the applicable engagement documents.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Satilla will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, and our total liability arising from the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Satilla harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes arising from the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
